I'm from Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa. I'm employed as an instructional designer, so of course, we have heard all the buzz words, but this is a great opportunity to figure out exactly what connectivism is all about: Siemens and & Downes - what more can one ask for...

For the course to be a succcess, I need to understand exactly what connectivism is all about, and how to implement it in a low bandwidth environment, such as the one many of our students over here live in. Using mobile devices in the process will be an added bonus. Practical application, I guess, is what I want.

Closest I've come to networked technologies, I guess, was hosting online on-fac courses, and facilitating online conferences. (And fidding with Facebook a bit, of course)
